Compensation Aside

I went and got up early and everything so I could do a double feature before shit got too crowded at the theater (you don’t think “Lola Versus” and “Safety Not Guaranteed” would get crowded in Times Square but then you’re forgetting how very much Times Square is the worst), but as I was walking up to the theater, it got swarmed with like six fire trucks. They were still letting people buy tickets and ascend the escalators to their (presumed) fiery doom, but I decided not to buy a ticket and risk then getting evacuated if, like, Dave & Busters had actually caught on fire or something, so I had to haul the entire enterprise uptown, only the movies don’t start for a whole 35 more minutes up here, so now I’m killing time and realizing I’m one of those people who complain about every little thing on tumblr. Anyway: mumblecore double feature!
