I’ve now seen all the Best Picture Nominees, and here they are, ranked, in my opinion, offered without commentary, and please tell me why I’m wrong:

1. Hugo

2. Tree of Life

3. War Horse

4. The Descendants

5. Midnight in Paris

6. The Artist

7. Moneyball

8. The Help

9. Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Oh, if you insist:

1) War Horse [YES. This is an uninspiring bunch of movies and I really loved that damn horse.] 2) The Help 3) Tree of Life 4) Moneyball 5) The Descendants 6) The Artist 7) Hugo 8) Midnight in Paris. Didn’t see: Extremely Loud.

Basically, from “Tree of Life” on down it’s movies I thought were not that great, so don’t yell at me about Hugo vs. The Descendants vs. The Artist because: if you say so.
